    Overview

2009 – ‘Developing the Screenplay Wingwalking: a Case Study’, peer reviewed article, Journal of British Cinema and Television.
2009 – Journal of Screenwriting, Principal EditorThe journal arose from of my realization that there was clearly a need for a specialist vehicle for academics to write about the screenplay. Both the Journal of Media Practice and the Journal of British Cinema and Television have recently devoted issues to the subject. The first issue of the journal was published in September 2009 and will be produced twice yearly. The editorial board includes internationally respected academics such as Kristin Thompson, Steven Maras, Paul Wells, Isabelle Raynauld, Andrew Spicer, Ken Dancyger and Ian Macdonald. The journal aims to promote academic research in the field of screenwriting and includes in its subject area writing for film, television and new media.
2010 ‘Collaboration and Control in the Development of Janet Green’s Screenplay Victim’, peer reviewed article, Journal of Screenwriting.
2010, September, 'Analysing the Screenplay', Routledge, editor and contributor.
The anthology aims to highlight study of the screenplay as an important form in itself.
