    Overview

I am currently studying for my Doctorate of Philosophy. This relates to my practice experience in children and families social work. Specifically the research that I am undertaking focuses on the interactions and interventions between child protection social workers and women victims of domestic abuse. Domestic abuse is one of the main areas of concern when it comes to child protection, and its prevalence is immense. My research focuses on the engagement between social worker and service user in order to safeguard children and women.
