Lecturer - Photography Contextual Studies
Arts and Digital Industries (ADI)
I am a practising artist and researcher who uses photography, drawing, print, video, audio, web and installation to explore the vernacular aesthetics of the globalised city and the relationships between material and digital cultures. I regularly exhibit my work in London and beyond.
I hold a Master’s in Fine Art with Learning and Teaching in Higher Education as well as a Master’s in Cultural and Critical Studies and I am a Fellow of the HEA. Beginning 2016 I will be working towards a Professional Doctorate in Fine Art within the School of ADI.
Art of Management and Organisation Conference 2016, Bled, Slovenia:
I will be presenting a video entitled The Brand Nobody Knows: London’s fashion ‘other’ and the vernacular aesthetic of the Anthropocene
I currently teach on the final year Photography Contextual Studies Module Global Photography as well as supervising Art and Design Dissertations. I am also an Associate Lecturer at the London College of Fashion teaching both theory and image making across the Fashion Communication Programme.
