Katy is a qualified Clinical Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist
Dr Katy Berg is a Clinical Tutor on the Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
Katy qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2008. Prior to training as a Clinical Psychologist, Katy worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Psychology at Birmingham University, within a team exploring the behavioural phenotypes of rare genetic syndromes with associated intellectual disability.
Her current areas of research interest include: professional self-care, compassionate care and service user experiences of psychological therapy.
Katy is an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies)
Katy works as a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Co-ordinator in a psychological therapy service (Camden and Islington iCope).
