Our Docklands campus is home to our £21 million sports facility, SportsDock. It is one of London’s largest indoor sports venues. This world class sports centre is available to students, staff, the local community, and national and international organisations.

As a testament to the quality of the centre, SportsDock was the official high performance training headquarters for Team USA, hosting them for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

SportsDock features:

  • two multi-purpose indoor sports arenas
  • 120-piece fitness centre
  • fully equipped strength and conditioning room
  • dance and aerobics studios
  • sports therapy clinic
  • conferencing and meeting rooms, lecture theatres and teaching rooms
  • outdoor pitches

Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre

Our Hockey and Tennis teams both use the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

UEL's Hockey players train and compete weekly on one of the two water based astro pitches at Lee Valley.

With six outdoor and four indoor courts, tennis players have great opportunities to improve their game.
