Going global

The Going Global initiative is set up to support and enhance home students to take their studies outside of the UK. In previous years the UEL Cricket Club toured India (2013), UEL Men’s Football Club toured Malaysia (2014) and UEL Women’s Rugby Club toured Boston, USA (2015).  Most recently our Hockey Club travelled to South Africa in 2016.

The students who are selected not only take part in matches against other Academic Institutes, they also represent the University as ambassadors to deliver coaching camps for their respective sports. Additionally they visit under-privileged projects engaging with the local community.
