Our American Football club
The American Football Club is one of the fastest growing clubs at the university with some of the most enthusiastic and passionate club members around. The club’s rapid development in the past three seasons has seen it go from flag football to full contact action with the club now competing in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) competition, progressing into the play offs in the 2017-18 season.
The club caters to players of all abilities and always welcomes new members throughout the whole academic year. Whether you are a complete beginner or an American Football enthusiast, there has never been a better time to join.
There are weekly training sessions to attend where you will not only learn the game but also meet new people and become a part of the American Football family at the University of East London. Off the field, the club enjoys a number of social nights each year which is a perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the social element of being part of a sports club.
Training takes places on every Thursday from 7:30-9:30pm at Royal Docks Academy
With the club growing in strength, there are a number of benefits you can enjoy by becoming a member today such as:
- Weekly, full contact training sessions
- Weekly BUCS fixtures throughout the season
- Fun social nights
Training & Benefits
With the American Football club being so large in terms of the amount of players on our team, our social nights are always ones to look forward to.
We pride ourselves on doing things together off the field in order to strengthen our friendships that ultimately help us stick together during crunch time in our fixtures.
We guarantee that you will have a great time socially within our club and we encourage you to join today to see for yourself.
