Firoz Patel, a former London Underground train driver who graduated in International Development with NGO Management BA (Hons) in 2005, came up with the idea for the charity Childreach International while studying at UEL as a mature student. The charity now has an annual turnover of £3.7 million, three international offices and has benefited over 700,000 children worldwide to date.
