The University of East London is committed to maintaining high standards in all its research activity. Recently, there have been significant developments in national policy to support good management of researchers and their careers, good research conduct and research integrity.
Through the implementation of the principles contained these policies, UEL aims to enhance the researcher workforce and thereby sustain research excellence bringing benefits to the health, economy and well-being of the UK.
The University is in process of developing and updating policies for open access to research data, a revised code of conduct for good conduct in research and a revised code for practice research ethics and governance. The following are provided for UEL researchers to highlight areas of good practice, and to ensure high standards in our research activity.
