A note to parents

‘What are the best ways to prevent babies developing anxiety?’

These are some of the questions we hope to answer with ongoing research at the UEL BabyDevLab.

Most of the studies that we run are for research purposes, and are not designed as diagnostic tests. Most of our analyses look at patterns across different groups of children, and we don’t look at our results on an individual child basis, so we’re normally not able to give detailed feedback about the performance of individual children. 

If there is something about your child that you are concerned about, then we will always be happy to discuss it with you – as long as you understand that we are research scientists, and not clinicians!
