Path to Net Zero Knowledge Exchange Programme
Path to Net Zero Knowledge Exchange Programme
The fully funded knowledge exchange programme run by the ARENA, ENE & SENE projects is giving businesses in Greater London and the East and South East of England the support they need to develop the knowledge and skills to enable your business to contribute to a low carbon future.
An ever-growing movement of businesses is joining the path to decarbonisation in the UK. More businesses are viewing decarbonisation as the right thing to do, and recognising that customers and clients care more and more about emissions when making choices.

The time for SMEs to join the movement of larger businesses in the UK to decarbonise has come.
Low-carbon business is good for the planet but also makes for great business. Customers, employees, and investors are all seeking companies that prioritise sustainability.
This is why so many SMEs are looking to cut their emissions and develop innovative ideas, products and services that will benefit the environment, promote sustainable living and create a carbon-neutral society.
Path to Net Zero Knowledge Exchange Programme
Over the past year, the Sustainability Research Institute (SRI) at the University of East London with funding from the European Research Development Fund has delivered funded decarbonisation training to businesses in Greater London and the East and South East of England.
As more and more businesses are looking for ways to respond to the climate emergency, accessing this type of support can help to gain a better understanding of how to meaningfully take steps to decarbonise your business operations. Our programmes cover topics such as calculating your carbon emissions, approaches to decarbonising, communicating your success and finding funding and there are also opportunities to access expertise that is relevant to your business. The programme, run over 10 hours on the 21, 22 and 23 February and 1 and 2 March will give you the knowledge, tools, and confidence needed to embark on your own path to net zero for your SME.
If you would like to accelerate your business' transition to net zero, please get in touch with someone from the team to see if you are eligible.
The ENE, SENE and ARENA projects will be receiving funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
