Research in the School of Childhood and Social Care

At the School of Childhood and Social Care (C&SC), our research is driven by a commitment to advancing knowledge and practice across three key thematic areas: 

• Psychology and Human Development: Conducting research on mental health, child development, and human behaviour to inform practice and interventions. 
• Social Work, Counselling and Social Care: Investigating the complexities of care systems and their impact on individual and societal well-being. 
• Education: Exploring innovative approaches to teaching, learning, and support for individuals across different life stages. 

By employing interdisciplinary approaches, our research aims to generate evidence-based solutions that promote well-being, social justice, and inclusion.
