Our Vision and Mission
Our Vision and Mission
Our vision
Our approach is strongly end-user-focused, embedded in a community development and co-production philosophy. We work with governments and practitioners in ensuring that our research impacts upon policy and practice worldwide: recently we have worked in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South America.
Our research and evaluation focus on two thematic areas:
- Online Harms and Cybercrime
- Community Health and Wellbeing
Within each theme we cover the topics of:
- Healthy Ageing and Life Course (Professor Gopal Netuveli)
- Cybercrime (Professor Julia Davidson)
- Social Prescribing (Dr Marcello Bertotti)
- PPI in Health Service Research (Dr Darren Sharpe)
Teaching and training
'Learning by doing' - learning, teaching, employability and student success: ICC offers innovative short teaching and training courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, bespoke in-house CPD courses and supervision of PhD students in our core areas.
