The ICC Evaluation Unit
The ICC Evaluation Unit is committed to delivering high quality co-produced evaluations for the public good. We undertake service enhancement/transformation evaluations, rapid evaluations, as well as acting as a learning partner to support community organisations, funding agencies and public Institutes to capture evaluative-evidence and insights into health and social programmes.
We are highly experienced in using Implementation Science (formative) and Realist evaluation (summative) methodologies. Consequently, the Evaluation Unit can provide clients with tailored support in all stages of evaluation planning, delivery, analysis and write-up.
We offer the following services:
- We undertake rapid evaluations
- We undertake evaluations into complex interventions
- We undertake evaluations into community-based interventions
- We run evaluation clinics at no cost to VCF and Public Institute
- We deliver CPD training in evaluative research skills and methods
- We provide thought leadership as learning partners/mentors
- We are bidding partners on research bids and tenders
- We work with an interdisciplinary bank of consultants
- We provide opportunities for undergraduates and postgraduates to get involved in real-world research
- We have an intergenerational community research panel to help guide all stages of our work
