UEL begins formal recruitment process for vacant post of Vice-Chancellor
University is seeking an outstanding individual to build on recent successes
The University of East London (UEL) has today begun a formal recruitment process for the vacant post of Vice-Chancellor and President of the University.
An advert for the role has been published in the jobs section of the UEL website and the University will shortly be engaging a recruitment search agency to manage this crucially important appointment.
Geoff Thompson MBE FRSA DL, the Chair of UEL’s Board of Governors, said, “We will be casting our net far and wide to find a truly outstanding individual who can provide the University with the highest level of strategic leadership and hold overall responsibility for its operational management.
“The role offers the opportunity to build on the successes of recent years that have seen UEL make significant rises across a range of university league tables, culminating in the recent honour of being named the UK’s most improved university over the past decade in the 2018 Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey.
