Meet Rahma Farah
Consulting with Impact
Rahma provides behaviour and sleep support for children and young adults experiencing behavioural challenges, with a primary focus on supporting neurodivergent individuals to develop meaningful skills that promote independence and socially significant outcomes.
RDSBL Business Incubator was Rahma’s next step to continue with her one-year-old consulting and coaching business. She shared:
I was motivated to join a business mentorship programme because I have reached a stage where passion and expertise alone are no longer enough to achieve sustainable growth. While I have built a values-driven service supporting neurodivergent children, families, and schools, I recognise the need for structured guidance to strengthen my systems, partnerships, and strategic decision-making. Business mentorship offers the opportunity to refine my vision, learn from experienced leaders, and develop scalable models that protect impact while ensuring long-term sustainability and financial stability.”
One of the key takeaways from the programme was the value of learning from a diverse range of experts. Each week featured a different speaker with specialist knowledge, from finance and marketing to strategy and operations, providing practical insights across multiple areas of business growth. This exposure helped Rahma better understand how different elements of a successful business fit together and enabled her to apply targeted improvements to her own practice with greater confidence and clarity.
Beyond the sessions and mentoring clinics, the connections made in the cohort proved incredibly useful as well. Rahma noted:
I am currently developing an exciting collaboration with a fellow member of the Business Incubator. While we serve a similar audience and community, our expertise comes from complementary fields, mine in behaviour science and my collaborator’s in occupational therapy. We have decided to formally partner to develop integrated business offerings and are in the process of launching a four-part workshop series for parents that combines behavioural and occupational therapy perspectives.”
When discussing her biggest learnings, Rahma shared:
“Build your business with intention, not urgency. Invest early in systems, partnerships, and mentorship so your growth is sustainable rather than reactive. Stay anchored to your values and the community you serve, but be open to refining your model as you learn what truly creates impact and longevity. Progress comes from consistency, reflection, and the willingness to ask for support when scaling feels uncomfortable.”
