Where lessons come to life

At UEL you get more than just a degree. We take out lessons out of the classroom and through this distinctive learning experience we'll turn you into a successful, stand-out individual- we call it learning by doing.

We offer our 19,000 students a deep learning experience where you can apply all that you learn in the classroom, laboratory or studio to real-life projects and practical assignments. Our students 'learn by doing', developing the skills and knowledge that will fully equip you for the career you choose.

A great example of this is our partnership West Ham United, one of England’s most celebrated Premier League football clubs.

Lessons really come to life here for students on our FdSci Applied Community Sport course where students take their theory based learning from the classroom straight to the community. We give our students the chance to discover at first-hand what it’s like to work with large and different groups in community sport by getting involved with coaching.

Open Day

We're firm believers in the importance of hands-on experience. Join us at our Open Day and get a flavour of what its like to be a student here by taking part in interactive taster sessions.

Saturday 14 November, 10am-3pm

What I like about my course is that we are able to do placements where we can actively engage with clients and professionals in the clinical field rather than just learning about it in a lecture room. My lecturers are very informative and supportive and some make the modules really funny and relatable.
