Is the University of East London a good fit for international students?
Yes. In the International Student Barometer 2022, 92 per cent of UEL international students were satisfied with their overall experience, and 91 per cent said their course was good value for money. We also offer dedicated support with visas, accommodation and settling into life in London.
How does UEL help me gain real work experience while I study?
We build practice-based learning into many degrees through placements, live industry briefs or client projects. You can also use our careers support for coaching, CV help, interview practice and employer events.

When can I start and how do I apply?
Most courses start in September, and some start in January. Use your course page to check your start date, then follow the guidance for your region and the international admission deadlines to apply.
What support can I expect outside the classroom?
You’ll have dedicated international support before you arrive and after you enrol. This includes help with your visa and CAS, finding accommodation, and settling into life in London. Once you’re here, you can access wellbeing and counselling, academic skills support, careers and employability advice, and a wide range of student events, societies and volunteering to help you feel at home and build your network.
