Transferring to UEL FAQs
What does “transferring to UEL” mean?
Transferring means you are already studying at a university in your country and want to continue your degree at UEL, usually at the next level of study.
How do I apply to transfer?
Choose your course, then apply in the right way for you:
- North America applicants can apply through Common App.
- Most international applicants apply directly through the course page.
- If you are applying to more than one UK university or have Home fee status, you must apply through UCAS.
What extra documents do I need for a transfer decision?
Send a detailed transcript showing your modules and grades, plus your module syllabi/outlines, so we can check the match and level. If requested, include a second academic reference. Add your name and UCAS number to any documents sent after you apply.
Can I get advanced entry (for example into Year 2)?
Possibly. If you have completed two years of university or hold an Associate degree in a relevant subject with a CGPA of 2.0, we may consider you for advanced entry, at UEL’s discretion.
What happens after I apply?
We’ll email to confirm we received your application. Once your transfer eligibility and level are assessed, we will email your decision. If you applied through UCAS, your offer will also show in UCAS Track.
