If you are an international student, you may not automatically be eligible for your chosen degree due to differences between UK qualifications, and those from your home country. However, we are here to help you reach your degree aspirations. We have a number of study options that will help you to enter your chosen degree, with entry points at both April and September.

Why wait, when you can apply now for our upcoming pathway programmes in April 2022 and September 2022?

The University of East London partners with Malvern International to offer a fully embedded on campus International Study Centre. The programmes offered by Malvern International provide progression to a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the university.

As a student at the International Study Centre, you will be taught in a supportive environment with a diverse group of students. The programmes are designed with international students in mind, and these programmes have additional language and study support built-in to help students reach their full potential.

Studying in small classes with weekly personal tutorial sessions, you will have the one-to-one help you require to learn a range of academic and language programmes.

International Foundation Year  (IFY), is a one year visa programme that has progression to the first year of degrees at the University of East London.

International Foundation Year programmes are available in the following subjects:

International Foundation Programme is an integrated foundation and degree programme, with a Tier 4 visa that covers the full duration of your studies. This programme is designed to give you a combination of academic knowledge and language provision to get you ready for your undergraduate studies.

International Year One provides a route to Year 2 of a range of undergraduate degrees. In an environment that supports you to improve language skills and study academic modules in small class sizes, we are here to support your studies each step of the way.

If you would like to study at postgraduate level, but your current academic level isn't equivalent to a 2:2 or you do not have the required language level, one of the following pathway programmes may be perfect for you.

Pre-Masters Programme - This programme is designed to improve your language level. This programme does not top up your previous academic study. This programme allows for progression to ALL UEL postgraduate programmes. On this programme you will learn the skills you need to succeed at postgraduate level including academic reading, academic writing, literature reviews, poster presentations and critical thinking.

The International Graduate Diploma is designed for students who would like to study Business, Humanities or Social Sciences at postgraduate level. This programme involves both academic study in business and language study. This programme can be used to top-up your previous learning (from HND Level) to enable further study on programmes like MSc International Business Management and MBA.
