Entry requirements
Undergraduate
- Higher Secondary School Certificate (Year 12) with GPA 2.8/60 per cent/B or above
- A recognised International Foundation course
- Nepal-Diploma (From Council For Technical Education and Vocational Training) with First Division - 65-79 per cent
Postgraduate
- Second Division Honours bachelor’s degree (minimum length 4 years) and have scored an average of 55 per cent from a recognised university.
English language requirements
To study at UEL you must demonstrate that your English level is at the standard for university study. We accept a number of different English language qualifications/tests for entry onto our courses, with IELTS being the most common.

- Higher Secondary School Certificate, Grade XII English with a minimum of 60 per cent or a GP of 2.8.
- A Medium of Instruction (MOI) Letter stating that their studies have been completed in the English Medium from one of the following institutions:
- Tribhuvan University
- Kathmandu University
- Pokhara University
