Entry requirements

Undergraduate

Students must pass a foundation programme grade 7 or above; 70%; MS/B:

  • Certificado de Conclusão do Segundo Grau / Ensino Médio (Certificate of Completion of Secondary Education)
  • Certificado de Ensino Médio (Certificate of Completion of Average Education)
  • Certificado de Ensino Técnico
  • Certificado de Conclusão de Ensino Médio Supletivo (Adult Education Secondary School Diploma)

AND one of the following:

  • ENEM with minimum 55 (550 out of 1000 - Simple Average/Media Simples)
  • US College Board SAT 1600 over 3 components (old scheme) or 1070 (new scheme)

Postgraduate

  • Students must hold a 4 year Bacherel/Licenciado or Professional Title Bom, Muito Bom, Excelente; A/B; 6+; 60% or CGPA 2.5 (out of 4)
  • 3 year Tecnologia Licenciatura and a 1- 3 year Especialização Bom, Muito Bom, Excelente; A/B; 6+; 60% or CGPA 2.5 (out of 4)
  • 2 years Cursos Superiores Seqüenciais and a 2- 3 year Especialização Bom, Muito Bom, Excelente; A/B; 6+; 60% or CGPA 2.5 (out of 4)

To study at UEL you must demonstrate that your English level is at the standard for university study. We accept a number of different English language qualifications/tests for entry onto our courses, with IELTS being the most common.
