Entry requirements
Undergraduate
- Zimbabwe General Certificate of Education at Advanced Level (conducted by ZIMSEC) with the equivalent UCAS tariff points
- A National Certificate of Education, credit pass
- A National Diploma, credit pass
- Diploma of Education from the University of Zimbabwe with a credit pass
- A recognised International Foundation course
Postgraduate
- Second Class bachelor’s (Honours) degree from a recognised university.
English language requirements
To study at UEL you must demonstrate that your English level is at the standard for university study. We accept a number of different English language qualifications/tests for entry onto our courses, with IELTS being the most common.
Accepted English Language Qualifications
- GCE O Level/ Zimbabwe General Certificate of Education at Ordinary Level in English Language with Grade C or above
- Zimbabwe General Certificate of Education at Advanced Level in English Communication with Grade C or above
- IELTS
- TOEFL IBT
- Pearson Test of English (PTE)
- Oxford International English Test (OIETC)
