What made you choose UEL for your studies as an International Student?
UEL is a hub of diversity and a major reason I chose to study here. I love the way the university embraces and respects international students and their cultures.
My application process was really easy, I was never confused or lost because there were advisors helping me every step of the way.
What do you like about your course so far?
Learning from professors who are experts in their field has been really thrilling. The most interesting module for me is the Introduction to Conflict, Displacement and Human Security because it encompasses everything, I need to be able to achieve my dream of being a Humanitarian Aid worker.
What do you like about the campus and what can you tell us about the facilities available?
The Docklands campus is really modern, cosy and interactive!
What can you tell us about UEL services? Please share your experience.
As an international student coming into London for the first time with no connections, I wanted to experience a school community before living off campus. The Wellbeing Services is really impressive, their services have helped me settle down smoothly in an unfamiliar environment.
What advice would you give to prospective international students coming to UEL?
Embrace the vibrant diversity around you, stay curious, and make the most of the opportunities available. Get involved in student activities, like Active Campus. I’ve got to meet new people, go to new places and embrace staying active. Always seek support when needed and balance your academics with new experiences. Remember, every challenge is a chance to grow, enjoy your journey and make lasting memories.
