Entry requirements

Undergraduate

You will usually need one of the following:

  • Apolytirion of Lykeio (Apolytirio Genikou Lykeiou) from a General Lyceum (Geniko Lykeio) with a minimum average of 16, including relevant subjects
  • Level three Vocational Training (Cycle two) Certificate (Ptychio) from a Technical Vocational Educational School (TEE or TEL) with a minimum average of 17
  • School Leaving Certificate from an EPAL with a minimum average of 17. This may be accepted for direct entry, depending on the relevance of your specialisation.
  • A Vocational Training Certificate or Diploma from an Institouto Epaggelmatikis Katartisis (IEK) with a minimum average of 17
  • A recognised International Foundation course, including some providers in Greece

Postgraduate

You will usually need one of the following:

  • A Ptychion from a university (AEI) with a minimum grade of 6.5
  • A Ptychion from a technological institute (ATEI) with a minimum grade of 7
  • A bachelor’s degree from the American University in Greece with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.7

To study at the University of East London (UEL), you must show that your English language level is suitable for university study.

We accept a range of English language tests, including:

  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT)
  • Pearson Test of English (PTE)
