When you arrive at the ExCel, make your way to the Capital Suite located on level 3 to register, collect your gown and photography (Arrive 2 hours before your ceremony to avoid long queues).
All students must attend registration first, where you will be given your calling card, map and information about the day.
Once you have registered, collected your gown and had photography, proceed to the ceremony. The ceremony is taking place in the ICC Auditorium located on level 0 and lasts approx. 2 hours. Guests will not be allocated seat numbers as it will be first come, first serve. It is recommended that they arrive early to get the best seats.
After your ceremony make sure you meet up with your friends, family and tutors to chat and relax at your reception venue in the Capital Suite (Level 3).
Transport and directions
The 2018 Graduation ceremonies will be held at ExCel London.
Cycle - ExCeL London has 60 cycle racks which are free to use. 6 cycle racks are located at the west entrance taxi drop off point just underneath the DLR walkway. 54 cycle racks are located near to the east entrance underneath the stairway connecting Level 0 to Level 1.
Rail – The Excel can be accessed via two stops on Docklands Light Railway (DLR). Alight at Prince Regent for the east entrance and ICC London.
River - The Emirates Air Line provides fantastic views of the river as you make your way to Price Regent station from North Greenwich pier. Also, Thames Clippers provides an Express service. The service runs approx every 20 mins.
Car and taxi - These main routes include the M25 and M11, the North Circular, A406 and the A13. As you get closer you’ll pick up signs for Royal Docks, City Airport and ExCeL London.
