How can the Federation help you?

Student benefits

As a student studying at one of the federation colleges, there is a variety of student benefits open to you.  You can receive information, advice and guidance making career choices, experience what university life is like by attending university taster days or partake in transferable skills workshops.  We also offer financial incentives if you wish to study at the University of East London. 

We offer the following student benefits:

  • Progression Scholarships
    • Extra money to study - Gain financial support to help you while you study by applying for a progression scholarship. 
      • How to apply? Speak to your tutor because they have to nominate you.  Deadline for applications:  31st March 2018.

  • HNC & HND Progression Schemes
  • HE Progression Modules
  • Access to Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Service.

The Access Progression Scheme provides a direct route to Higher Education. If you are studying on an access course you will benefit from progressing directly to selected a UEL degree programme without the need to complete a separate UCAS application form.

Our Access to Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Service provides free advice and guidance to students. Take the opportunity to receive preferential access to UEL’s IAG service which provides impartial advice and guidance to support you with your career, higher education options and progression routes.

Our Higher Education Progression Modules help students to gain study skills. Take the opportunity to access next steps information and gain transferable skills required by employers.  Additionally, participate in taster courses and workshops to develop your skills to prepare you for higher education.
