UK Fiscal Budget 2021 – A debate:
United Kingdom economy shrank significantly due to Global Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. UK budget 2021 promises Furlough and Stamp duty holiday extensions in addition to several initiatives to support the economic recovery. How will the UK Budget impact the route to Economic rebound in year 2021 and beyond?
Please join the UK Fiscal Budget 2021 discussion organised by University of East London Economics Society (UEL ECOS) in collaboration with the Centre for the study of States Markets and People (STAMP).
Session will include:
- Discussion by Professor Vass, Director of the centre for the Study of States Markets and People (STAMP) looking at wider political economic implications of Covid-19 and UK Budget response.
- Presentations by Jake Sudds and Reiss Fairey from the UEL Economics Society (UEL ECOS) analyzing the UK Fiscal budget 2021 towards reviving the UK Economy.
- Presentations will be followed by a heated round table informal debate by Level 6 BSc Economics Students.
