Postponed: Views From The Boardroom: In Conversation With UEL's Black Governors
Reflections on career success, community, and more from four of the University's senior leaders
This event has been postponed and it will now take place in November. A specific date is yet to be determined, and we’d welcome your re-booking for the revised date.
One of the many distinctive features of the University of East London is the composition of its Board of Governors, with four of the twelve independent members drawn from the global Black diaspora.
We are honoured to gather these four accomplished professionals together for an 'In Conversation With....' session as part of our Black History Month season. A wide- ranging discussion will explore their respective career journeys; experiences of 'being Black' within their communities; and the advice they might give to their younger selves about what it means to succeed in life. Space will be given to Q & A in the second half of the session.
