About this Event

This webinar discusses the objectives of the Tax and Accountancy Clinic and how self-employed individuals, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), charities and University students can access free consultancy services being offered by the tax clinic.

The webinar shall also analyse and discuss governmental fiscal policy intervention in UK, EU and the USA from March 2020 and how the UEL Tax & Accountancy Clinic can offer advisory support.

The following themes will be covered in this event:

  1. Services offered by the Tax and Accountancy Clinic.
  2. How to access the services offered by the Tax Clinic during the Covid-19 era
  3. Outline of programme over the next 12 months.
  4. Collaborative partners and other benefits.

The webinar will be delivered by Dr Posi Olatubosun.

Dr Posi Olatubosun (PhD, FCCA, FHEA, ACSI) is the Director of the Tax & Accountancy Clinic and a senior lecturer in accounting and finance at the Royal Docks School of Business and Law, University of East London. Dr Olatubosun has many years of experience in tax and audit practice with one of the “Big Four” accounting firms, and this experience is currently being applied in the teaching of taxation and audit at undergraduate and postgraduate levels within the University of East London.
