Positive Psychology Coaching: Opportunities, Issues and Notes of Caution

The phrase ‘Positive Psychology Coaching’ (PPC) has been growing in popularity over the last few years. In this informal, impromptu conversation, leading figures in this field, Robert Biswas-Diener and Christian van Nieuwerburgh, will explore some key issues and questions emerging relating to the practice of PPC.

Robert was one of the first positive psychologists to write about the concept, and Christian has been a leading champion of the integration of coaching and positive psychology. They have recently co-authored a couple of chapters about PPC, and this conversation will touch on some of the ideas generated during that process.

This exploratory session, organised by the MSc In Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology at the University of East London, should be of interest to coaches, positive psychology practitioners, leaders and other professionals who use coaching and positive psychology theories and techniques within their roles.

Participants will have the opportunity to “listen in” on a live conversation and engage with the thinking.

Please RSVP if you wish to attend.

You will receive the link to connect 48 hours before the presentation.
