Dear Mya
The Department of Performing Arts presents: Dear Mya
A book called precious, some spoken words and a letter with a desire to join the dots. This is the tale of a girl called Mya, whose travels through foster homes left her wanting to piece together her story. If she can tell her mother all the things she missed maybe she might find out who she is. This a devised piece of gig theatre which explores cultural appropriation, displacement and asks how we can ever understand the dimensions to which we truly effect another person.
The production has been put together within UEL's performing arts department.
Matinee show starts at 5.30pm
Evening show starts at 8pm
