Not for the Faint Arted
BA Fine Art student fundraising auction
Third year BA Fine Art students will be auctioning off their artwork to raise money for their final degree show catalogue and the degree show.
This is the 11th year of the infamous event which is completely student led and which celebrates student work, being shown and sold alongside some very well-known names.
The full list of contributors are: Phil Allen, Tim Allen, Daryl Brown, Dan Coombs, Sharon Drew, Doreen Fletcher, Amanda Francis, Brian Griffiths, Alexis Harding, Sam Keogh, Sharone Lifschitz, Lee Maelzer, Paul Manners, Emma McGuire, Michael Pinsky, Hedley Roberts, Si Sapsford, John Smith, Mark Sowden, Susan Stockwell, Richard Wentworth, Richard Wilson, Rob Reed and Ed Gill.
This is one night only event, on Thursday 18 December. Course leader Alexis Harding said, “It is a visual feast, spasm of an event where the thrill of showing and exhibiting is celebrated for the student.
“Students will be showing alongside big names and bargains can be had! We keep it for the students and you can see from the list of contributors how much support the BA fine art course at East London has. It stands out as a unique place to study Fine Art in London in 2020.”
The auction will take place at the Nunnery Gallery in Bow (181 Bow Rd, Bow, London E3 2SJ), which has a local focus, championing the work of emerging artists and uncovering local history and heritage.
Doors open at 6pm and bidding starts at 7.30pm.
