Stress management workshops
The health and wellbeing team host a series of stress management workshops for students
Running from 30 September to 17 December, the University of East London will host a series of workshops and sessions to help students manage and cope with the demands and pressures of every day life. The sessions will run on Monday and Tuesday every week during this period.
Hosted by the University's health and wellbeing team, the sessions will cover:
- An introduction to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Managing stress, anxiety and panic attacks
- Managing low mood, depression, self criticism and sleep issues
- Coping with communication/relationship issues and building assertive awareness skills
During the first term, the sessions will run as follows:
Mondays @ SL.G.05
30 September - 16 December
3.30 - 5.00pm
Tuesdays @ US.3.08
1 October - 17 December
11.15 - 12.45pm
There is no need to book, just turn up. All attendees are treated with respect and confidentially.
