Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching presents a lunchtime seminar on transformative pedagogy

UEL staff are invited to a discussion on transformative pedagogy

UEL staff are invited to a lunchtime seminar that will input into our ongoing discussions around the philosophy of UEL education (#phUELed).

Dr Shrehan Lynch (Initial Teacher Education) will present a session that aims to provide an overview of transformative pedagogy.  The session will begin with a justification for socially just educational practices.

Then, Dr Lynch will overview what transformative pedagogy is, along with appropriate content, methods, and organisational structures for transformative approaches with students. Throughout, Dr Lynch will share insights from her research in this area.

Attendees will take part in transformative activities that will help inform their understanding of transformative pedagogy.

The seminar is on 8 May from 12:30 to 1:30 in ED.4.03 on the Stratford Campus.
