Business masterclass with John A. Dembitz: Reviewing your own management and leadership style
A masterclass for UEL business students
UEL business students will take part in a business masterclass workshop with renowned business leader John A. Dembitz.
Mr Dembitz is on the board of Titus International Group, Venquis, EAC Management, Cripps, Winmark Global, and Pension and Lifetime Savings Association, either as non-executive chairman or director.
He has also been chairman or non-executive director of a significant number of business over the past 20 years - for the alternative investment market, listed, private and family owned, private equity, and hedge fund owned businesses.
In addition, he is involved with entrepreneurial businesses in an advisory capacity and undertakes some consulting assignments as well as pro bono work. He is a member of London Business School’s Global Advisory Council.
He gained an MBA from London Business School in 1975, followed by a career with McKinsey & Co, where he became a senior engagement manager.
His impressive career includes roles as executive director with Consolidated Goldfields/Amey Roadstone Corporation, executive director at Charterhouse Japhet and CEO of Valin Pollen.
In 1990, he joined his brother in an entrepreneurial venture called IDOM, which is an IT consultancy that became Central and Eastern Europe’s largest consultancy, successfully sold to Deloitte & Touche in 1995.
In 2010, John’s first book was published: ‘It’s the People! What really drives great management and leadership’. This was followed in 2014 by a second publication: ‘2x2 Manager'.
