Guerilla Science presents Fright Night

UEL Psychology lecturer Jodie Malinowski will discuss dreaming and sleep

Dare to delve into your darkest nightmares and join psychologists and filmmakers to explore the world of night terrors, sleep paralysis, lucid dreaming and more in an evening hosted by Guerilla Science.

Discover how you can gain control of your dreams through techniques like lucid dreaming with Dr Josie Malinowski, Lecturer in Psychology at the University of East London.  Learn how to direct your own dreamscapes and navigate nocturnal meditations as you delve in the human mind. Make your own brew of sleepy tea to take away, while discovering the sleep-inducing effects of herbal and orthodox medicine.

Artist and producer Carla MacKinnon also shares her experience of sleep paralysis with a screening of her award-winning experimental documentary Devil in the Room, which evokes and explores the worlds between sleeping and waking.
