The Source of artistic brilliance
As a UEL Student , you will have access to The Source in its capacity as a brand new performance venue, social hangout and learning space - right next door to our University Square Stratford Campus. The Source is a partnership between UEL and Newham’s Youth Empowerment Service and features a fully-equipped 310 seat Auditorium, dance studio, black box studio, cafe and so much more!

For Performing Arts Students, The Source gives you the opportunity to showcase your work to public audiences on a professional stage. Between hosting student productions and assessments, The Source is a fully operational theatre, featuring world-class productions from a diverse range of artists.

With our programme of education, collaborative workshops and creative events delivered by the partnership, we are a platform for young people, emerging artists and entrepreneurs from every kind of background. We are a space in which your voices will be heard, your skills honed, and your confidence built so that our East London community can foster creative talent and build meaningful change.
