Clearing FAQs
How does Clearing work?
Clearing is an opportunity to secure a place at a UK university. It runs every year from July to September.
During Clearing, you can contact different universities to see which courses they have places left on for the upcoming academic year.
You might already have some university offers, missed out on your ideal grades, or just want to go somewhere else. Clearing means you can apply directly to a university and get an offer quickly,
When does Clearing open?
Clearing opens on 2 July.
Most Clearing activity takes place around A-level results day but you can get in touch as soon as you have all your results.
We'll be available from 7am on results day to support you with your applications and enquiries - call us or apply through our online form.
Which courses are in Clearing?
Normally most of our undergraduate courses are in Clearing - this means you can call us or apply online for the course you wish to study at UEL. If you're not sure yet or you still have questions, please get in touch and we can advise you.
