What we do

Our Employer Engagement Team offers students and graduates support with applying for placements, the opportunity to meet employers at networking events, access to our online jobs board with live vacancies, and a regular newsletter to keep you posted about the latest jobs. The team also runs an internship scheme where UEL services hire students or graduates to work in their department for three months.

We can help with:

  • Job Board Searches
  • Embedded Placements
  • Internships
  • Employment Opportunities

If you'd like to get in touch with our team, please email us at searchforwork@uel.ac.uk

Sign up our mailing list to receive information related to part-time jobs, employer events, internships, placements and other fantastic opportunities.

Through our partnership with Adecco we offer full and part-time paid work on and off campus. This will give you the flexibility to choose when and how you work while building on the employability skills and experience that graduate level employers value. You can fill in a survey to register your interest.

In order to ensure you are job-ready before applying for positions, your first point of call should be our library of online resources.

Should you require further guidance deciding what you want to do or support with a specific application, please book an appointment with one of our team of dedicated Career Coaches  by contacting The Hub.

Services for Employers

We're keen to work in partnership with employers to promote opportunities and connect with our exceptional pool of students and graduates. We connect with a wide range of local and national partners to provide our students with mentoring opportunities, work placements, internships, part-time work and graduate-level employment.

Please visit our jobs board if you are an employer with a vacancy and fill in a form to advertise a new job listing. We’re on the lookout for graduate-level vacancies, summer internships, part-time internships, sandwich placements, part-time jobs and temporary or seasonal work.

Our jobs board promotes vacancies directly to UEL students, and gives employers the opportunity to post jobs for free. Our services include hosted events, a managed vacancy service and targeted advertising through our many internal channels.

Get in touch with us to discuss ways we can work together or to post live vacancies.
