Every year we ask all those who have recently left a course at UEL to take part in a survey, to find out what they go on to do after they leave the University of East London.

Data is processed and sent to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) in accordance with HESA’s data protection guidelines. All data is anonymised, to ensure that individuals are not personally identifiable. For further information, please see the HESA DLHE Collection notice. 

UEL stores all survey responses in a secure database. Coded and anonymised information is used to inform our careers and employability services and academic programmes. No individual will be personally identified in line with data protection.

Survey Deadline

We are interested in any work and/or further study you were doing on 10th January 2018.

All you will need is your UEL student number. It should only take a few minutes to complete. You can fill in the questionnaire online at any time from now until 5th March 2018, but remember that 10th January 2018 is the date we are interested in, so that we can compare everyone’s information.

Remember to include any work you do whether paid or unpaid or on a freelance basis to develop your career portfolio which may include your work:

• as a consultant

• as a sole trader

• as a volunteer

Having trouble doing the survey?

If you need assistance in completing the questionnaire, or need access to the form in an alternative format, please contact us on 0208 223 4321 and ask for the Data and Survey Officer or email cfsssurveys@uel.ac.uk.

Below are details about how the survey works and what will happen to the information you provide. If you prefer to opt-out of the survey, please let us know by emailing cfsssurveys@uel.ac.uk with 'DLHE16-17 survey refused' in the subject line. Please include your student number so that we can remove you from the survey.

Offers from CfSS

The Centre for Student Success (CfSS) may contact you to offer available opportunities or just to see how you are doing. Again, if you do not want to be contacted, please let them know by sending them an email at cfss@uel.ac.uk with 'DLHE 16-17- no contact' in the subject text box, please include your student number.

All this aside, as a valuable asset and ambassador of UEL you may be interested in the opportunity to share your experience of the programme you recently completed with your current students. If so, please contact us to arrange this with you.

Please note, the services of the Alumni and Centre for Student Success are available to you, irrespective of whether or not you take part in the survey.
