Students at university fair

On-campus events

Dedicated on-campus events to target particular degree cohorts or address volume recruitment needs. We will work with you to design your activity according to your hiring objectives. We will also help design marketing material and distribute information to the relevant students/graduates.

Hosted events include:

The EET will host networking events where employers will have the chance to present to students on a panel, and meet with them in a relaxed atmosphere in order to talk about their organisation and current vacancies. The team will organise the venue and market the event to students.
Employers will have the opportunity to give lecture-style talks to students in order to inform them about their organisation, current opportunities and recruitment processes. These events will be marketed by the EET, students will sign up for the event and the employer will be informed of the numbers attending. Alternatively, where possible, these can be delivered to students during lecture time.

The EET will provide space to facilitate group interviews or assessment centres. The team will be able to assist with pre-screening candidates and running the event.

At any time of the year, we are able to host an employer stand on campus for organisations that would like to promote opportunities to students. This works well for part-time and casual student jobs.
At the beginning of the academic year (October) we host a Jobs Fair focusing on part-time casual employment for students. Employers are able to exhibit at stands on both Docklands and Stratford campuses. The Jobs Fair usually takes place over three days where we have a range of employers promoting their opportunities in busy student areas. This is an opportunity to engage directly with students and get them signed up.

The annual UEL Careers Fair is our largest employer event on campus. The fair brings together a range of employers and guest speakers across a number of industries. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with our diverse student and graduate population and to promote your organisation and the opportunities you have on offer. We have over 12,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students from 135 different countries studying across 284-degree courses. The event is free for employers. Details of the next Careers Fair will be displayed on the UEL Employment Hub homepage.
