Charlie Werren: Alumni Advancement Manager
Charlie has worked at UEL for over 8 years and has a wide knowledge on how both the University and Alumni Relations work. Heading up the Alumni Advancement Office she is responsible for overseeing the implementation of a programme of alumni communications and events as well as managing a programme of engagement opportunities for UEL alumni and facilitating the route for graduates to stay in touch.

Sam Mirza: Alumni Advancement Officer
Sam joined the team at the start of August 2015, Sam works closely with Charlie on alumni communications, including putting together the monthly e-newsletter and also assisting with ‘Now & Then’. Like Aziz she also manages a number of our school based events. In addition to this, Sam is responsible for all the day to day running of the office, dealing with general enquiries, updating the alumni database, managing the process behind the Alumni network passport card, as well as looking after the teams social media channels.
The Alumni Network provides a global platform for its graduates and Friends of UEL to stay in touch with their university, and maintain relationships with former classmates and the wider UEL community for years to come. We are based at UEL, Room WB 2.14 Docklands Campus, University Way, London E16 2RD
