Mental Health Support
University life can be exciting, busy, and sometimes overwhelming, and you don’t have to deal with it on your own. UEL’s Student Wellbeing Service is here to support your mental and emotional wellbeing throughout your studies.
If you’re a UEL student, you can access all wellbeing support and resources through the intranet.Mental Health Support
We take student wellbeing seriously and offer support for a wide range of concerns, whether you’re feeling stressed, low, anxious, overwhelmed, or finding that your mental health is affecting your studies or attendance.
After an initial well-being appointment, support may include:
- Emotional and mental health support
- Counselling
- CBT and EMDR
- Wellbeing coaching
- Self-help resources and workshops
Support is voluntary and based on what works best for you. You don’t need to be in crisis to reach out.
Do I need to book an appointment?
If something doesn’t feel right, that’s reason enough to get in touch. Many students come to us when stress, anxiety or low mood starts to impact their studies, motivation, or day-to-day life. Friends and family can help, but sometimes it’s easier to talk to someone independent and trained.
