Helping the Homeless over Christmas
Estates and Facilities and Health and Safety worked together to donate a total of 582 individual hot rice pots and 90 toilet rolls to the charity, in time for the Christmas campaign.
Crisis at Christmas aims to help homeless people receive food, shelter and care over the Christmas period. A Crisis member of staff collected our donations and took these to a local branch in Bermondsey. By supporting this cause, UEL demonstrated a commitment to social sustainability and civic engagement, and diverting waste food from landfill.
