Careers Insight Day

A one day visit designed to give Year 9 students opportunities to understand their possible future pathways at university. The pupils will consider likes and dislikes, their personal qualities and set their future goals, focussing on the wide range of options available and creating awareness of post-16 choices. 

  • A selection of interactive workshops allowing your students to explore their aspirations for the future and the value of a degree
  • It provides students with knowledge of career options and different pathways
  • The event covers the importance of planning and setting targets to achieve goals
  • It is an opportunity away from a school environment for them to think about their future
  • It meets Gatsby Benchmarks
  • Event timings – 09:30-15:00, December 2019 *Date will be posted October 2019*
  • Location - delivered on a University of East London campus
  • Suitable for – Year 9. Students must be accompanied by a teacher
  • Spaces are limited to 30 students per school and priority is given to University of East London partner schools
