Student Agreement
The University of East London (“the University”) believes it is important that all applicants and students understand the key terms, regulations and policies that the University will apply and rely upon in its future relationship with them. We have tried to make our agreement user friendly but it’s important that you read the whole Student Agreement so that you understand the ‘legal bits’ of the agreement.
Why this Agreement matters
Studying at a University is a two-way relationship, requiring commitment from You and from Us. This Agreement is legally binding between Us and sets out what You can expect from Us, what We expect from You, and what happens if things change, or go wrong.
Important
Whilst we ask you to read the whole document, we wanted to bring your attention to these important terms and key sections in the agreement:
- Attending the University and engaging fully with your studies including in lectures/tutorials, assessments, group work with your fellow students and self-study
- Paying your fees
- Complying with regulations, policies and procedures relevant to you
- It is for applicants who applied directly to UEL or Malvern House
- It is not intended for applicants to or students at any other partner universities or partner education providers. See the separate terms that you will have been provided by the partner institution
