Why did you choose to study at UEL?
I was recommended to transfer from my BSc as UEL had a promising Psychology program as well as a strong student support system.

What is your one special memory of your time at UEL?
I don't have just one special memory, but I was very fond of working in teams. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with people with different backgrounds and experiences. It was fascinating!

What have you done since graduating from UEL?
I travelled across the world, gained some experience in working with NGOs and now I am settled down with my own family and working towards my preferred position in my field.

What is your current job role? And what does it involve?
Compliance Assistant. I monitor all forms of communication between clients and agents as well as conduct investigations that may end up in court. I also ensure the agents adhere to the regulations.

How did UEL help you get to where you are now?
Through the practical work during my degree, I am able today to utilize fully what I have learned in order to do a great job in completing my tasks as hand.

What advice would you give your younger self?
Never stop trying. There will always be obstacles to overcome but the reward is worth the hard work.

What advice would you give to UEL current students preparing to graduate?
The world outside of university is very crazy. Be prepared for the impossible and always have a plan B to get back on track. Never give up on your dreams.

Tell us something about yourself that most people don't know:
I was diagnosed with a learning disability during my first year of BSc  which was a big eye-opener. Through support, I found a way to tackle all academic changes and succeeded on my own in the end

If you were to do it all again, would you still choose UEL?
Definitely! My class was the first to do this specific MSc. The information was just so incredible. I would go back just to work of different projects to expand my knowledge.
