Why did you choose to study at UEL?
I chose to study at UEL as it was the best option for me, due to the high quality of the curriculum within the MBA Business Analytics course. The diverse and multicultural student environment and the beautiful Docklands campus were also a few of the highlights that led me to choose UEL.
What is your one special memory of your time at UEL?
The most memorable and beautiful moment for me was my graduation day. This is because as well as proudly graduating, I also proposed to my partner whilst wearing the ceremonial gown and cap at the beautiful Docklands campus.
What have you done since graduating from UEL?
After graduating from UEL, I swiftly got a job offer as a Customer Account Manager from 'Certas Energy' at their London Office, the largest fuel distributor in the UK.
What is your current job role? And what does it involve?
As a Customer Account Manager, my responsibilities include driving business growth through new sales and researching potential leads.
How did UEL help you get to where you are now?
UEL enabled me to unleash my true potential by helping me polish my professional experience and build my self-esteem and confidence, to achieve success as a professional.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Never settle for less than what you deserve. It is important to take risks and challenge yourself without the fear of failure, as this is what leads to personal growth.
What advice would you give to UEL current students preparing to graduate?
Focus on your academic studies and get engaged with UEL’s career zone, as this will help you navigate your career path. Try your best and don’t be afraid to get out of your comfort zone and to challenge yourself.
Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know:
I am skilled in both fitness and nutrition and enjoy cooking. If I was not a business professional, I would definitely be a chef or fitness trainer.
If you were to do it all again, would you still choose UEL?
Yes, I would 100% choose UEL all over again.
