Tristan Parkes has over twenty years professional experience within the performing arts industry both nationally and internationally as a composer, musical director, sound designer and performer.

OVERVIEW
Tristan has written music and/or directed music for an array of productions in London's West End and Fringe theatres as well as for regional and touring theatre in the UK along with festivals such as the Edinburgh Festival and Latitude.
Internationally he has arranged and directed music for the Beijing and London Olympic Games and for the British Council at the World Expo Shanghai. Tristan's work with Blackeyed Theatre regularly tours the UK, The Netherlands and China. Tristan has worked in parallel with education for most of his professional career; as an Associate Artist of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain Tristan has written music for much of the NYT's high profile output.
As an Education Associate at The Donmar Warehouse Theatre, London Tristan has created many performances with London school children around Donmar productions, notably Sondheim's 'Passion' and Coleman and Zippel's 'City of Angels'. Many of these children had their first experience of theatre at the Donmar Warehouse. Tristan delivers workshops on devising music-theatre performances regularly around the UK.
